Not sure what to make of it all. As lock-down eases an a “new normal” slowly becomes the norm.
I have been re-assessing my work and trying to refine my path through the ceramic mire. Motivation started high and then I realisied how many pots I have ready to go. We were supposed to have an Art Trail in Salisbury, staring at the end of May and Finishing mid-June which is cancelled and a selection of joint exhibitions with Debra Sweeney during the course of the next year. Well that’s all evaporated and now it’s a waiting game for us all.
I have been working on a body of 2D abstract pieces in an effort to purge clay thoughts from my brain. I haven’t worked on paper for an age so it’s quite refreshing and challenging.
Well that will do for now. I have to wash up last weeks pots and pans plus vacuum the lounge.
I hope you stay safe where ever you are.
